I’m Adrian Cipriani.
I’m interested in various fields and work intensely on projects in these areas. Projects in painting, film and music are the most significant and time-consuming things I am doing at the moment. Other interests include logical thinking, entrepreneurship, philosophy and some more…
I am pouring all of the time I’m not in school into my projects. Through that I can evolve and learn on a constant basis, being confronted with various difficulties where it’s on me to find solutions.
I’m very passionate about my projects and love having new, fancy ideas.
PAINTING
I can’t really say when I started painting or drawing, since I loved to draw from a very young age on. Things took off when I was maybe 11 years old. I was sketching in nature and the city, started painting watercolours and soon bought my first watercolours. In the two years that followed I painted a rather huge range of art works so that I could realise my first solo art exhibition with 13 years in 2018.
Since then I have created a lot of paintings that I think are interesting and beautiful. I could study different subjects and techniques in more detail and I also explored totally new areas like nude drawing. I’m looking forward to displaying my artworks from the last 3 years in the near future.
FILM
Film and painting is not so different for me. Both in film and painting I care about perspective, color and character. Furthermore, film is something for me that lies between painting and music. I find it thrilling to tell very emotional stories.
The film SOMNIUM from 2020 is my only artistic film project so far. It will soon be here for you to watch!
I love to have lots of “Bokeh” in my shots and I love how film and music can harmonate.
MUSIC & COMPOSITION
I composed my first couple of pieces with 11 years for piano solo or piano with cello which I both played at this time.
In 2020 I started to compose very intensely and had and still have so much fun exploring the symphonic orchestra, playing around with synthesizers and my favourite instruments, the concert grand, the pipe organ and the violoncello.
I initiated the YCC – Young Composers’ Community in April 2020 and I am very passionately creating new projects with the YCC and searching for new opportunities & resources for the community. Check us out.
My greatest idols in music are romantic composers like Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky or Liszt and impressionists like Ravel and Debussy. Amongst contemporary composers I think Glass and Adams are very great.
